Top draft prospects

Twelve names you will hear between now and April. This is a beginner board, not a scout’s thesis. Rankings move after every Saturday. Nobody here is “yours” until a club calls the name.

  1. 1

    Wide receiver · Ohio State

    Jeremiah Smith

The name most boards still put first: a receiver who already looks like a Sunday problem. If only one college player is on UK highlights, it is usually him.

  2. 2

    Cornerback · Notre Dame

    Leonard Moore

A long corner who plays the ball. Defence-first clubs at the top of the Draft often fall in love with this type.

  3. 3

    Edge rusher · South Carolina

    Dylan Stewart

A pass rusher with bend, the kind of player who wrecks a pocket. Edge rushers go early because they change quarterbacks’ nights.

  4. 4

    Edge rusher · Texas

    Colin Simmons

A twitchy front-seven piece: can rush, drop, and chase. Sporting News had him inside the top five; others have him a bit later.

  5. 5

    Linebacker · Georgia

    Chris Cole

Linebacker at Georgia. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  6. 6

    Wide receiver · Indiana

    Charlie Becker

Burst onto boards after a big Indiana season. Contested catches and long speed: the “where did he come from?” name.

  7. 7

    Cornerback · Clemson

    Ashton Hampton

Cornerback at Clemson. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  8. 8

    Quarterback · Oklahoma State

    Drew Mestemaker

Quarterback at Oklahoma State. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  9. 9

    Defensive tackle · Ole Miss

    Will Echoles

Defensive tackle at Ole Miss. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  10. 10

    Cornerback · Georgia

    Ellis Robinson IV

Cornerback at Georgia. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  11. 11

    Defensive tackle · Tennessee

    Xavier Gilliam

Defensive tackle at Tennessee. A name on the early 2027 boards. Rankings move every week of the college season.

  12. 12

    Offensive tackle · LSU

    Jordan Seaton

An LSU tackle with length and punch. Offensive line names are quieter on telly; clubs still draft them high.
